At Cultivato, we believe that global food shortages and food deserts can be resolved through good urban planning and integration of micro-farms. The deployment with our partners of our micro-farms provides fresh produce as physically close to the end consumer as possible. Often our micro-farms are located in or around facilities that serve fresh food utilizing a farm-to-table model beyond anywhere else. Cultivato also is partnering with residential projects to deploy fresh farming for building residents using a low-cost direct-to-consumer produce model. Ultimately our micro-farms can be deployed in less than three weeks and deliver high-quality varieties and quality products to consumers directly closer than anything else. Our models still utilize lower water usage by up to 98% than traditional farming and use vertical space, ultimately reducing deployment square footage. This business model also benefits our team with a community aspect, returning and partnering with local communities. Growth with this model comes full circle sustainably.
